Sweet, Southern Engagement Session at Bonne Terre | Emily & Josh | Memphis Wedding Photographer

He asked...

"He took me to my moms house which is on a lake in Arkansas. It was a short trip, she had just gotten a new house so we went to see it. We went and ate and afterwards we had plans to walk by the lake. I really wanted to go get my dog to walk by the lake but nobody would let me. I was so irritated and I didn't understand why I couldn't just go get my dog. When we got there I was still talking about the dog and josh grabbed my hand and walked me ahead of everyone to the lake. He told me to look in the other direction and I turned back around and he was on my knee. He asked me to marry him and I asked him if he was serious a million times before I said yes. It was sweet, he had told my whole family it was happening and my mom had a friend hiding in the trees to take pictures of it."

Emily and Josh will be getting married at Bonne Terre next April, so we decided we wanted to take full advantage of their wedding venue by doing their engagement photos there also! Emily told me that Bonne Terre was the first wedding venue she looked at, and she instantly fell in love. 

So excited to be Emily and Josh's wedding photographer! Can't wait to document this milestone for them and the next chapter of their lives together.
