Mr. & Mrs. Stamper | A Wedding at Wiseacre Brewing Co. in Memphis, TN
First off, let me tell you a little bit about Nathan and Melanie.
They are just a couple of nerdy, Disney loving, wand waving, beer drinking, Grizz fans who reside in the 901 and love each other fiercely.
It's a strong love, but a silly kind of love; the kind that you know will never leave you bored. The best friend, laugh-until-your-sides-hurt kind of love. A magnetic, vibrant affection and companionship that you can only hope to one day find for yourself.
Celebrating their wedding at Wiseacre Brewing Co. wasn't just a random choice, and it wasn't just because it's probably one of the coolest wedding venues in Memphis, it's a freaking BREWERY, or because the ceremony area has two towering silos with string lights draping down in every direction, turning the concrete patio into a quirky Bluff-City Ballroom.
(Although I'm sure that played a small factor.)
Wiseacre is actually where these two love birds met for the first time, and one of their normal hang out spots.
I love the thought of them celebrating anniversaries and having fun, chill date nights at the place where they read their vows to each other, danced the night away, and celebrated their mushy-love stuff with all their family and friends. Their reception was filled with vivacious guest and laughter, as well as a pretty badass playlist.
The Stamper's wedding perfectly reflected their eccentric and fun personalities and love for Harry Potter, St. Jude, Memphis, and each other.
Congratulations, Melanie and Nathan! Truly LOVED getting to document this day and all it's quirks that made it so special and personal to the two of you.
"We are part of Allie's Allies, a team that raised >$30,000 during the marathon weekend. We have come to know and love Allie and her family, and we wanted to incorporate that in the wedding because her cause is so dear to us. We chose not to have a registry because we both have lived on our own for a long time, and already have all the household things we need. We didn't have a need for an actual wedding registry. We'd rather the money go to the families at St. Jude than have another set of pots and pans or knick knacks. We wanted to use this as a chance to give back."

"Which came first, the Phoenix or the flame?"

"Nathan COMPLETELY surprised me with the wands after the ceremony. I turned to see all of my family holding them and waving them high in celebration. It was the sweetest, best surprise because it's so us."
