A Fun and Whimsical Wedding at Wildwood in McKenzie, TN | Trevor and Amanda
I really don't know where to start with these two.
You know when you meet people and you just click?
The moment I opened the email (signed, #Tremandous) from Amanda and Trevor inquiring about their wedding day, I was obsessed with them.
I was stoked when I got to spend the afternoon with these two in Memphis for their engagement photos at Wiseacre Brewing, and introduced them to the best peanut butter pie on Earth at *drum roll please* Hog & Hominy.
So on their wedding day, it felt like we showed up and photographed two friends that we have known for years promise to spend the rest of their lives together.
Wildwood Weddings and Event Venue in McKenzie TN is just a short drive from where they live in Martin, and this is where they said their vows to one another with their friends and families.
The venue itself is beautiful. There were string lights in every corner and chandeliers hanging from the trees, and the whole place was surrounded by corn fields that stretched on forever like mountain ranges. It was perfect.
Trevor & Amanda, we would have crashed your wedding even if you didn't choose us to document your wedding, so we're pretty glad you did. Everything was beyond perfect and we can never thank you enough for choosing us to be a part of your day!

A few of my FAVORITE little DIY wedding details from Trevor and Amanda's day were the mix match plates that they served dinner on, that were all thrifted or borrowed from friends and family.
I seriously wanted to look at every one of 'em because they were so vintage and unique!
The center prices were adorable old books with vases of flowers, and the seating cards were magnolia leaves with each guests' name beautifully inscribed on them.
One of the coolest things about Amanda and Trevor's wedding is that they had their friend Kevin Pitz brew beer specifically in their honor. He is an entomologist at UTM and calls his brewery Dr. Bug's Brewing. He made two different beers for their wedding; one for Trevor and one for Amanda. Trevor's was a cream ale called Out Kicking Your Coverage, and Amanda's was a hefeweizen calling Marrying Up.
