A Classic Wedding at The Brooks Museum in Memphis, TN | Rebecca and Jon

“I loved having that moment for ourselves away from everyone! I was focused on not tripping on my dress while walking in the ceremony, so I was glad that we'd seen each other before. It helped with my nerves, too. I was overcome with relief and excitement! We'd been waiting all day to get things started for the wedding, so it was a moment of excitement, but also a lot of calmness being back together.”

-Rebecca

It was such a fun part of the day when Jon did a first look with the bridesmaids and Rebecca did a first look with the groomsmen. This friend group is so close and I thought it was so fun for them to incorporate this into their day!

“We love going to art museums whenever we travel, or locally around DC where we live. When we decided to get married in Memphis, we knew an art museum would be a dream location for us, and the Brooks has so many spaces + amazing outdoor space.”

-Rebecca

The Brooks Museum is such a sophisticated and elegant wedding venue in Memphis, which made it absolutely perfect for Rebecca and Jon’s wedding. Nestled in the middle of Overton Park, the museum's classic and elegant architecture creates a timeless ambiance. The garden served as the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony.
